Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments.
- Provide friendly, efficient service to café patrons, including language students and visitors.
- Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, tea, etc.) under the guidance of senior baristas.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including the cashier area, seating, and service counters.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with the barista team to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer experience and revenue.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards in all café operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
- Basic English proficiency (spoken and written) to communicate with international customers.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for cash handling.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Willingness to learn barista skills (training provided).
- Prior experience in retail, F&B, or cashier roles is advantageous but not required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
