Responsibility
- Develop and design CAD models for footwear tooling, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
- Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative and efficient tooling solutions.
- Optimize tooling designs to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of tooling prototypes to ensure quality and performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production process.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software and tooling technologies to enhance design capabilities.
- Document and maintain records of tooling designs, specifications, and modifications.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality materials and components for tooling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Tooling Specialist, preferably in the footwear or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of tooling processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
