Responsibility
- Lead the design and engineering of civil/structural systems for data center colocation facilities, including foundations, load-bearing structures, and seismic reinforcements.
- Develop BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD drawings in compliance with local regulations (e.g., PUPR standards) and international codes (e.g., IBC, Eurocode).
- Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and contractors to integrate structural designs with power, cooling, and security systems.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for greenfield/brownfield projects, evaluating soil conditions, flood risks, and utility access.
- Oversee construction supervision, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks (e.g., LEED, Uptime Institute).
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents for procurement.
- Implement sustainable design principles, such as energy-efficient materials and water management systems.
- Liaise with government agencies (e.g., DPUPR Bali) for permits, inspections, and compliance certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data center, industrial, or mission-critical facility construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, and other structural analysis software.
- Deep knowledge of concrete, steel, and prefabricated construction methods for high-load environments.
- Experience with modular data center designs and hyperscale deployment is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes (e.g., SNI 1726-2019 for seismic design) and international standards.
- Strong project management skills (PMP certification preferred) and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent English communication skills for cross-border collaboration with global teams.
