As a CAD Technician, you will play a pivotal role in creating, revising, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and documentation for architectural and MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Structural) systems. Responsibility
- Create, revise, and maintain accurate technical drawings and documentation for architectural and MEPFS systems using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawings meet design specifications and industry standards.
- Interpret and apply building codes, regulations, and project requirements to all technical drawings.
- Perform regular quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
- Coordinate with on-site construction teams to provide clarifications and updates to drawings as needed.
- Manage and organize digital files and documentation to ensure easy retrieval and version control.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software, tools, and industry trends to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a CAD Technician or in a similar role, preferably in architectural or MEPFS projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard CAD software.
- Strong understanding of architectural and MEPFS systems, building codes, and construction standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy in technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in fast-paced construction or engineering environments is a plus.
