Responsibility
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and schematics using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to interpret design specifications and requirements.
- Review and validate CAD drawings for compliance with technical standards, codes, and client expectations.
- Modify and update existing designs based on feedback, revisions, or project changes.
- Organize and maintain digital design files, ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
- Generate detailed bills of materials (BOM) and assembly instructions from CAD models.
- Assist in troubleshooting design issues and proposing practical solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role in engineering, architecture, or construction.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness for precise design execution.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an advantage.
