Responsibility
- Develop and prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for fire protection systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for drafting and design purposes.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation are organized, up-to-date, and accessible for project teams and clients.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, including material takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire protection technologies and CAD software to enhance drafting efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a strong understanding of local and international fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, EN).
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in drafting, preferably with a focus on fire protection systems or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software; experience with BIM is a plus.
- Strong understanding of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and hydrant systems.
- Familiarity with local and international fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, EN, SNI).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
