Responsibility

  • Assist in the development and execution of buying strategies to meet sales targets and customer demand.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities in fashion and lifestyle categories.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and product assortments.
  • Manage marketplace operations, including vendor onboarding, performance tracking, and compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to optimize stock availability and minimize overstock.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on buying trends, marketplace performance, and competitive insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support promotional campaigns and seasonal launches to drive sales and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or marketplace operations, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketplace dynamics.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
