Responsibility
- Assist in the development and execution of buying strategies to meet sales targets and customer demand.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities in fashion and lifestyle categories.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and product assortments.
- Manage marketplace operations, including vendor onboarding, performance tracking, and compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to optimize stock availability and minimize overstock.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on buying trends, marketplace performance, and competitive insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Support promotional campaigns and seasonal launches to drive sales and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or marketplace operations, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketplace dynamics.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
