Responsibility
- Assist the buying team in sourcing and procuring consumer electronics and home appliances from local and international suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and competitive products to support purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate terms, place orders, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting demand to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and supplier documentation with accuracy.
- Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt and distribution of goods.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to recommend product improvements or new additions.
- Support in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with data analysis tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
- Passion for retail, consumer electronics, or procurement with a proactive learning attitude.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong work ethic.
- Previous internship or part-time experience in retail, purchasing, or inventory management is advantageous.
