Responsibility

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the regional business strategy for Specimen Management, aligning with BD’s global objectives and local market needs.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance, market penetration, and profitability across Southeast Asia through targeted initiatives and customer-centric solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare providers, distributors, and government agencies to expand BD’s footprint.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the lifecycle of specimen management products, from launch to optimization, ensuring competitive positioning and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, R&D, supply chain, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless product delivery and compliance.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage P&L responsibilities, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in sales, business development, or commercial leadership within the medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare industry, with at least 5 years in a regional director-level role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of specimen management, laboratory diagnostics, or clinical workflows, with a proven track record in driving business growth.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multicultural teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement data-driven business strategies.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
