Responsibility
- Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the food ingredients sector.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare professional sales presentations, quotations, and tender documents for prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Assist in the coordination of product sampling processes and trade show events.
- Manage sales databases and CRM systems to track leads, pipeline progress, and client interaction history.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales support, business development, or client account management.
- Prior exposure to the Food & Beverage or Food Ingredients industry is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and meeting tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is considered an added advantage.
