Responsibility
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, engage, and onboard key Web3 partners, including blockchain startups, DeFi protocols, NFT platforms, and metaverse projects.
- Market Expansion: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of Alibaba Cloudâs Web3 solutions in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
- Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets by closing high-value deals and expanding customer accounts.
- Technical Advocacy: Articulate the benefits of Alibaba Cloudâs infrastructure (e.g., scalability, security, cost-efficiency) for Web3 use cases.
- Ecosystem Building: Organize hackathons, workshops, and community events to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, and marketing teams to tailor solutions for Web3 clients.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position Alibaba Cloud as a leader.
- Client Success: Ensure seamless onboarding and long-term satisfaction for Web3 customers through proactive support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or Web3 certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in technology sales, business development, or partnerships, with at least 2 years in Web3, blockchain, or cloud computing.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of blockchain architectures (Ethereum, Solana, etc.), smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and managing complex sales cycles in B2B or B2D (developer-focused) markets.
- Networking: Existing relationships with Web3 founders, VCs, or developer communities in Southeast Asia are highly advantageous.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills to pitch technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with a startup mindset.
- Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is a bonus.
