Responsibility
- Develop and execute a strategic real estate plan for SEA markets, aligning with EssilorLuxotticaâs expansion and brand positioning goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure high-potential retail locations through market analysis, site visits, and financial modeling.
- Negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations with landlords, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with corporate policies.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and retail teams to streamline property acquisitions, disposals, and portfolio optimization.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and economic indicators to inform real estate decisions and mitigate risks.
- Manage relationships with brokers, developers, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Oversee store design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and budget constraints.
- Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, ROI, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; MBA or MRICS is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, retail leasing, or business development, preferably in SEA.
- Proven track record in negotiating complex leases and managing multi-market portfolios.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in ROI analysis, budgeting, and P&L impact assessments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional SEA languages are a plus).
- Deep understanding of retail trends, consumer behavior, and urban development in Southeast Asia.
- Ability to travel frequently across SEA markets (up to 40% of the time).
- Proactive, analytical, and results-driven mindset with a passion for the eyewear/retail industry.
