Responsibility
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate and expand CAPS Australia’s market share in the data centre sector across Bali and surrounding regions.
- Identify, qualify, and engage high-value prospects, including data centre operators, cloud providers, and enterprise clients, to generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, and operations) to customize solutions that meet client needs for power, cooling, and energy efficiency.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, customer demands, and emerging technologies in data centre infrastructure.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and ROI analyses to secure contracts and close deals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners in the data centre ecosystem.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Represent CAPS Australia at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or technical certification (e.g., CDCP, PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a focus on data centres, IT infrastructure, or critical power solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of data centre technologies, including power distribution, cooling systems, UPS, and energy management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or Indonesia is highly desirable; familiarity with the Bali market is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
