Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic B2B sales plans to drive revenue growth in Malaysia and expand the China-trade network.
- Identify, engage, and onboard high-value clients, including SMEs, corporations, and financial institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights in the fintech and cross-border trade sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to refine value propositions and enhance customer acquisition strategies.
- Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline health, and KPIs to senior management.
- Represent Xtransfer at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to boost brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably in fintech, banking, or trade finance.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the China-Malaysia trade ecosystem, including regulatory, cultural, and business nuances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English. Mandarin proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
