Responsibility
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the port, terminal, and logistics sectors to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and present compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, and finance) to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline progress, and market feedback to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the logistics, port, or maritime industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and growing revenue streams.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
