Responsibility

  • Identify and onboard new merchants, focusing on high-growth sectors like e-commerce, retail, and hospitality.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the payments and merchant acquiring space.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, payment processors, and business owners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to maximize profitability while ensuring merchant satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure merchant retention and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in fintech or payments.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, merchant acquiring, and financial technology trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
