Responsibility
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding, targeting key industries such as manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and partners to expand Aveon Global Transports’ market share.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with clients and logistics providers to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in freight forwarding.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and reports to stakeholders, highlighting value propositions and ROI.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize conversion rates and client retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client portfolios.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and sales analytics tools.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
