Responsibility
- Operate and maintain company lorries to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries while adhering to schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lorry driver, preferably in the furniture or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Bali.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as part of the loading and unloading process.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
