Responsibility
- Safely operate and maneuver lorries to transport goods, materials, and equipment to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and local regulations while driving.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transit using straps, chains, or other restraints.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules in compliance with legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting mechanical issues.
- Handle loading and unloading of goods manually or with assistance, ensuring proper care and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian Commercial Driver’s License (SIM C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience driving heavy vehicles (lorries, trucks, or similar).
- Familiarity with Bali’s roads, traffic patterns, and delivery routes is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety protocols and defensive driving techniques.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) as part of loading/unloading duties.
- Excellent time-management skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with international clients or teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
