Responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the defense and space sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic business plans and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals and partnerships.
- Represent Mitsubishi Electric at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Monitor and report on business development activities, progress, and results.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of the defense and space markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
