Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end Design-In projects from concept to implementation, ensuring seamless integration of Phoenix Contact products into customer systems.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market share in Southeast Asia, with a focus on industrial automation, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and key decision-makers to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase the value of Phoenix Contact solutions.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product teams to gather market feedback and influence future product development.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business cases, ROI analyses, and proposals to secure high-value contracts.
  • Represent Phoenix Contact at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales engineering, or technical sales within the industrial automation or electronics sector.
  • Proven track record in Design-In projects or technical solution selling, preferably with a focus on industrial connectivity, control systems, or power distribution.
  • Strong understanding of industrial protocols (e.g., PROFINET, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) and automation technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  • Ability to travel regionally (up to 30%) to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
