Responsibility

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand market share in Indonesia’s Oil & Gas and Heavy Equipment sectors.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, including partnerships, tenders, and client acquisitions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between HQ and Indonesian operations, ensuring alignment on commercial objectives.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with key stakeholders, including government entities and private enterprises.
  • Conduct market analysis to assess industry trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated commercial solutions and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive long-term business sustainability.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, bid management, and contract compliance to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial Management within Oil & Gas, Heavy Equipment, or Industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of market entry, revenue growth, and large-scale deal closures in Indonesia.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesian business culture, regulations, and industry networks.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional regional languages are advantageous.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Indonesia and occasionally internationally.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical, financial acumen, and P&L management experience.
