You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring that our facilities remain compliant with industry standards and safety regulations. Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and prevent equipment downtime.
- Manage and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Supervise shift personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and submit detailed daily shift reports, maintenance logs, and inventory updates.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to optimize building utility costs.
- Respond promptly to emergency building concerns and equipment failures to minimize operational disruption.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed professional (Registered Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related discipline).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance or facility operations.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure during technical incidents.
- Proficiency in computer-aided facility management systems or MS Office suite.
- Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate complex maintenance schedules effectively.
