Responsibility
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of building systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to plan and execute building projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff and other team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering to enhance building operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Valid license as a Registered Mechanical Engineer.
- Proven experience in building systems management, maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
