Responsibility
- Design and develop chemical processes for large-scale production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct research and experiments to improve existing processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and safety, to implement new technologies and methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze process performance, identifying areas for optimization and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines in all R&D activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in chemical engineering.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and operational staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical process development, preferably in an MNC or large-scale industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of chemical process design, simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and laboratory techniques.
- Experience with process optimization, scale-up, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) and environmental compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative work environment.
