Responsibility
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.
- Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and overhauls of production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify root causes of failures and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute shutdowns, upgrades, and modifications with minimal operational disruption.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) protocols in all maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Manage spare parts inventory and source materials to support maintenance operations while controlling costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CMRP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing, food processing, or chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and automated control systems.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Familiarity with TQM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with fluency in English (written and spoken).
