Responsibility
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and facility upgrades.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure system longevity and minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to emergency technical issues and facility breakdowns.
- Ensure full compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain accurate facility maintenance logs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building operations or facility management.
- Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and energy efficiency practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in local safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
