Responsibility
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure construction adheres to approved plans, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve structural designs, calculations, and technical drawings for compliance with Indonesian standards (e.g., SNI).
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks related to structural integrity, materials, or workmanship.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, non-compliance issues, and recommended corrective actions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to resolve technical or regulatory challenges.
- Ensure all construction materials meet quality standards through testing and certification processes.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site supervisors on best practices in civil engineering.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations in Bali.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., Sertifikat Keahlian) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building control, structural engineering, or construction supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations (SNI, IMB, etc.) and international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode).
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or SAP2000 for structural analysis and design review.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and travel to project sites across Bali.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainability practices is advantageous.
