Responsibility
- Conduct regular audits of branch operations to ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve fraud cases, operational errors, and discrepancies, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training programs for branch staff on quality assurance, fraud prevention, and compliance best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate branch performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with branch managers and regional teams to address audit findings and enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, banking laws, and internal policies to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management with actionable insights.
- Assist in the implementation of new quality assurance initiatives and process improvements across branches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and fraud detection techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to conduct audits, prepare reports, and communicate findings effectively.
- Certification in auditing (e.g., CIA, CISA) or compliance (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and mentor branch staff.
