Responsibility
- Monitor and operate boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of boiler equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate logs of boiler operations, including pressure, temperature, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and perform routine and emergency repairs.
- Assist in the training of new staff on boiler operations and safety procedures.
- Report any anomalies or potential hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in boiler operations is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Boiler Attendant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of boiler systems, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting purposes.
