Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure model accuracy and coordination across disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in BIM models to prevent on-site issues.
- Generate and update construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation from BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans (BEP) and industry standards (e.g., AIA, ISO 19650).
- Support project teams in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and scheduling using BIM data.
- Conduct BIM model reviews and provide feedback to improve design and construction efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM software, tools, and industry best practices to enhance workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in BIM modelling, with a focus on MEP systems.
- Proficiency in Revit (MEP), AutoCAD, and Navisworks; familiarity with BIM 360, Solibri, or ArchiCAD is a plus.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and building codes.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and model validation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
