Responsibility
- Develop and enforce BIM execution plans (BEP) aligned with project goals, industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and client requirements.
- Lead the implementation of BIM workflows, including clash detection, 4D scheduling, and 5D cost estimation, to streamline project delivery.
- Mentor and train project teams on BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and best practices for model creation, coordination, and data management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate BIM with IoT, AI, and VR/AR for enhanced visualization and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local and international BIM standards, including LOD (Level of Development) and COBie requirements.
- Oversee model quality control and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives by identifying and adopting emerging BIM technologies and methodologies.
- Prepare and present BIM progress reports and insights to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in BIM coordination, with at least 3 years in a leadership role on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD, and BIM 360, with expertise in clash detection and model federation.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., AIA, PAS 1192, ISO 19650) and construction documentation processes.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage BIM deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Dynamo, Python) to enhance BIM workflows is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in BIM or similar are advantageous.
