Responsibility
- Develop and maintain BIM models for gas pipeline systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and project alignment.
- Generate and review 2D/3D drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for gas pipeline projects.
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts to optimize system performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to junior team members on BIM software and workflows.
- Continuously improve design processes to enhance efficiency and reduce project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM modeling for gas pipeline or similar infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks; familiarity with other BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of gas pipeline design, pressure systems, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical drawings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Prior experience in SEA or international projects is advantageous.
