- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of 3D models across disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP).
- Oversee clash detection and resolution processes to minimize errors and enhance constructability.
- Manage BIM software platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and ensure compliance with project protocols.
- Generate and maintain 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) BIM models to support project planning and budgeting.
- Train and mentor team members on BIM best practices and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, generative design).
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to present BIM deliverables and demonstrate project progress.
- Ensure all BIM outputs meet quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360; familiarity with Dynamo or Python scripting is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (ISO 19650, AIA, or local regulations) and model collaboration workflows.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with 4D/5D BIM applications (e.g., Synchro, Fuzor) for scheduling and cost estimation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, CM-BIM) are highly desirable.
