Responsibility
- Manage and coordinate BIM models for MEP systems in data centre projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using advanced BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) to minimize construction conflicts and delays.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors, to integrate MEP designs into the overall BIM model.
- Produce and maintain LOD 400 BIM deliverables, including detailed construction documentation and as-built models.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650, local regulations) and project-specific BIM execution plans.
- Facilitate BIM coordination meetings, providing technical insights and resolving design discrepancies.
- Support project teams in optimizing MEP designs for efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Train and mentor junior team members on BIM best practices and software tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Modeler, with a focus on MEP systems in data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and BIM execution plans.
- Familiarity with LOD (Level of Development) standards and industry best practices (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical information clearly to stakeholders.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are a plus.
