Responsibility
- Develop and maintain BIM models and drawings in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure BIM models align with design intent and construction needs.
- Generate accurate 2D and 3D drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to minimize on-site issues and enhance project efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and best practices.
- Review and validate BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate design changes and updates into BIM models.
- Prepare and present BIM reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, Draftsperson, or similar role in the engineering or construction industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
