Responsibility
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD) for architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project specifications and standards.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and mitigate conflicts between disciplines before construction begins.
- Generate and manage BIM execution plans (BEP) and coordinate model deliverables with project stakeholders.
- Produce construction documents, drawings, and visualizations from BIM models to support project teams and clients.
- Conduct 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) BIM simulations to optimize project timelines and budgets.
- Stay updated with emerging BIM technologies and industry best practices to enhance workflow efficiency and model quality.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, modeling, or a similar role within the AEC industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Solibri. Knowledge of BIM 360, Tekla, or ArchiCAD is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and local building codes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret 2D drawings and convert them into accurate 3D models with attention to detail.
- Experience with clash detection, model validation, and coordination in large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with LEED, sustainability practices, or digital twin concepts is highly desirable.
