Responsibility
- Process and verify billing invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage customer accounts, including payments, adjustments, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests via phone, email, or chat.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes for efficiency.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports related to billing activities for management review.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing software, customer service tools, and industry best practices.
- Identify and escalate recurring billing issues or customer complaints to the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Assist in the onboarding of new clients by setting up accounts and explaining billing procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or customer service roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with billing software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Experience working in a remote or international team is a plus.
- Familiarity with U.S. billing practices and time zone flexibility is advantageous.
