Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end billing process, including invoice generation, distribution, and follow-up to ensure timely payments.
- Oversee the collections process, implementing strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing billing inquiries and resolving disputes in a professional manner.
- Monitor aging reports and implement proactive measures to reduce delinquent accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and customer service, to ensure accurate billing and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and tax requirements related to billing and collections.
- Prepare and present regular reports on billing and collections performance to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, collections, or a similar financial role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of billing and collections processes, including invoice generation, payment tracking, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the shared services or outsourcing industry is a plus.
