Responsibility
- Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and forecasts to the executive team and stakeholders.
- Manage tax planning and compliance, including coordination with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Drive financial transformation initiatives to improve processes, systems, and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
- Proven experience in financial transformation, process improvement, and system implementation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities.
