Responsibility
- Act as the primary point of contact for Mandarin-speaking clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Translate and localize business documents, emails, and marketing materials from Mandarin to English and vice versa.
- Facilitate meetings, calls, and negotiations between clients and internal teams, providing real-time interpretation when necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Assist in creating culturally appropriate content and communication strategies for Mandarin-speaking audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on client deliverables and project timelines.
- Provide cultural insights and recommendations to enhance business interactions and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and project updates.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in translation, interpretation, or a similar bilingual role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in translation and communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with business etiquette and cultural norms in Mandarin-speaking regions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation tools is a plus.
