Responsibility
- Design and implement age-appropriate, bilingual (English & Mandarin) lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning through play, exploration, and structured activities.
- Assess and monitor childrenâs developmental progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with a multicultural team of educators to develop and refine teaching strategies.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, events, and field trips to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing concerns and celebrating milestones.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations and school policies.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education, Teaching, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and bilingual teaching methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Passion for creative and interactive teaching, with a focus on holistic development.
- Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia) is a plus.
- Valid teaching certification or willingness to obtain one (e.g., TEFL for Young Learners).
