Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with international curriculum standards (e.g., Cambridge, IB, or similar).
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and multicultural classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities that enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate in professional development workshops, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and ethical teaching practices.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives, such as cultural events, sports days, and community service projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with experience in primary education.
- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
- Passion for innovative teaching methods, including technology integration and project-based learning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and commit to a long-term contract.
