Responsibility
- Develop and implement age-appropriate Chinese language curriculum for infants (0-3 years) using play-based and sensory learning techniques.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to reinforce language acquisition and early development milestones at home.
- Assess and monitor each child’s progress in Mandarin proficiency, motor skills, and social-emotional growth.
- Organize and lead cultural activities (e.g., storytelling, songs, festivals) to immerse infants in Chinese traditions and language.
- Maintain accurate records of student development, attendance, and daily activities.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a secure learning space.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (native or near-native proficiency) with excellent English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching infants/toddlers, preferably in a bilingual or international setting.
- Certification in early childhood education (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infant development stages and best practices in early language acquisition.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and adapt to diverse teaching environments.
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (sponsorship may be provided for exceptional candidates).
