Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end tender and proposal management process for Eaton's Power Distribution and Power Quality solutions.
- Develop and implement bid strategies to maximize win rates and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and finance teams to create compelling and compliant proposals.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage bid timelines, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure favorable contract agreements.
- Maintain a database of past bids, lessons learned, and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular reports on bid performance and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or business development, preferably in the manufacturing or energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex tenders and securing high-value contracts.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and preferably another East Asian language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
