Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked beverage station, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in optimal condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a hygienic and safe working environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new beverage techniques to enhance the menu and guest experience.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso-based drinks and brewing methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
