Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of Tealive beverages, including bubble teas, coffees, and other specialty drinks, according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, blenders, and other barista equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace, including the counter, equipment, and storage areas.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using POS systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, syrups, and supplies, and communicate restocking needs to the management team.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special promotions.
- Uphold Tealive’s brand standards, including presentation, portion control, and adherence to food safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista, in a café, or in a similar role in the hospitality industry (fresh graduates with a passion for coffee and customer service are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including brewing methods, milk steaming, and drink customization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings, as required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus.
