Responsibility
- Craft high-quality coffee beverages using specialized equipment, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance their experience.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Upsell coffee beans, merchandise, and specialty drinks to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Assist in training new team members on coffee preparation and customer service standards.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe workspace for staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn and grow in the specialty coffee industry.
- Previous barista experience is a plus, but full training is provided for the right candidates.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (full-time and part-time options available).
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
