Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages using hand-pour, espresso machines, and other brewing methods.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional, and efficient approach.
- Manage front-of-house operations, including order taking, cash handling, and POS system use.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, brewing techniques, and menu recommendations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Uphold the café’s brand standards through consistent presentation and quality control.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in hospitality is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation (espresso, latte art, manual brewing) is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts (part-time/casual basis).
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a bonus.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags, milk crates).
