Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to exacting standards of taste and presentation.
- Educate guests on our beverage menu, including origin, roasting profiles, and brewing methods, while making personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Upsell specialty items, seasonal offerings, and premium add-ons to enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
- Take accurate orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and attention to customization requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including equipment calibration and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure seamless service during peak hours and special events.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, new brewing techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve service quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and warmth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume or luxury setting, with a strong portfolio of coffee knowledge.
- Certification in barista training (e.g., SCA, Q Grader) or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a passion for delivering consistent, high-quality service.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg (e.g., coffee bags, equipment).
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to upholding the resort’s luxury standards.
